ONGOING CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS:

      • LEE STREET MAIN REPLACEMENT 2025- Design plans have been in place since 2023; the bids are in and the contract has been awarded to Haluch Water, who is ready to roll and get our long-awaited infrastructure project started. Beginning on May 19th, you will see equipment pop up on Lee Street as well as erosion barriers and materials. Our staging area will be 40 Lee Street. If the weather holds and area preparation goes smoothly, Haluch is looking to start digging by June 1. This means they will be working in the street, and there will be lane restrictions and possibly road closures. We will update traffic conditions on a weekly basis here and on our Facebook page, which will be shared with other town sites. If you know anyone who uses Malden Street to Lee Street as a cut-through, please direct them to our web page as traffic patterns will be changed during construction.           Current schedule:
  • 5/15 & 5/16- Signage installation, equipment delivery
  • 5/19- material delivery, location marking (road work)
  • 5/27- installation commences                                                                                                                                         This project represents a commitment to infrastructure improvement that will provide the town with safe, clean drinking water for decades to come, while not incurring any additional debt service. We hope the residents of West Boylston and the surrounding area are patient while the work is being completed and ask for your assistance in keeping our contractors and staff safe by avoiding the area when possible.

OUTDOOR WATER USE RESTRICTIONS: Outdoor water use restrictions are in place every June 1 until September 30th. Why? So we don't have to enforce a WATER BAN- something we never want to have to do! You can help by following some simple guidelines: BE WATER WISE!

2025 PAVING:

Road repairs from winter water main breaks will be ongoing from April 24th to May 14th, including the Maplewood, Bowen and Franklin Street areas.
